2018 Ride of a Lifetime - Martin Truex, Jr.

This special auction begins ONLINE and will conclude LIVE at the
Speedway Children's Charities NASCAR Banquet on Friday, June 22. 

Bid on the chance to ride with Martin Truex, Jr. during the 2018 Toyota/Save Mart 350 pre-race show ceremonies powered by Friedman’s Home Improvement at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday, June 24.

  • Reigning Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Champion and 2013 Sonoma Raceway winner.
  • Currently sixth in Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series point standings with two wins so far this season. 
This online auction will close at 3:00 pm EST, Friday, June 22,  the highest online bidder at that time will be contacted directly, invited to attend the Speedway Children's Charities NASCAR  Banquet, and have a chance to continue bidding during the LIVE auction, that evening at Cline Cellars, at approximately 8 pm PST.

Winning bidder will ride in the back of a Toyota Tundra with Martin Truex, Jr. and make one parade lap around
 the Sonoma Valley road course immediately following driver introductions. Winner receives a Pre-Race Pass, which grants access to all pre-race festivities on the road course and driver introductions. 
Winner must be at least 18 years of age. Only one person may ride with Martin Truex, Jr. Package DOES NOT INCLUDE race tickets, which are required for track admission.

Speedway Children’s Charities is proud to present the “Ride of a Lifetime” Charity Auction. The Sonoma chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities is dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of Sonoma County children in need.

Please Note:

This event can be physically demanding and fast paced. Please remember that the drivers are in their offices – this is their job! They are preparing to run a race and are graciously sharing their time. 
Speedway Children’s Charities cannot and does not guarantee any driver autograph. Due to NASCAR media contracts, you may have a reporter or television crew in the vehicle, as well.

Auction Rules

1. Must be at least 18 years of age and able to enter into legally binding contract.
2. For Ride of a Lifetime, individuals riding in the parade lap must submit to criminal background check per NASCAR regulations.
3. Payment must be received within 24 hours of close of auction. You will be contacted by email after the auction ends.
4. Failure to check in by specified time on Sunday, June 24, may result in forfeiture of package. Winners will receive check-in time and information in an e-mail after the close of   the auction.
6. All bidders/winners must comply with Speedway Children’s Charities policies and procedures.
7. Auction begins at noon EST on June 13 and ends at 3 pm EST on June 22. All information regarding package will be provided upon receipt of payment.

SCC reserves the right to remove or cancel any portion of the experience if, in SCC's discretion, the winning bidder and/or guest are acting in an inappropriate manner, including by way of illustration, not limitation, belligerent towards others, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or in any other manner in which a reasonable person may fear for his/her safety, etc. Dress code is enforced for all experiences, no inappropriate, vulgar or revealing clothes are permitted. Furthermore, the host of the experience reserves the right to remove any individuals from the experience if the winning bidder fails to follow their rules and guidelines for behavior during the experience.  

A bid is a legally binding contract and you agree to be bound to make payment if you are one of the two highest bidders. Do not bid if you are not 100% certain you can follow through with payment at the winning bid price within the stated time. By bidding in this auction, the bidder understands and agrees to Speedway Children's Charities ("SCC") policies and procedures as well as all terms and conditions mentioned here.

Full payment is required within 12 hours of auction close. Once payment has been received, the winner(s) will be contacted by SCC regarding fulfillment. Failure to deliver payment within the designated time will result in default of the bid and SCC may select the next highest bidder.
